It's the time of year when dreams turn to vacation ideas and if you're like me, your thoughts turn to the most unique or unforgettable places that you always wanted to visit. Though I long to go overseas, I'm thinking more economically this year so my travels will be within the United States this season. That covers a lot of ground so I could actually plan an entire summer by traveling from coast to coast. I'd start my trip in the west since I'm already in the Rockies.

Las Vegas is a skip and a jump from Utah which makes me curious about lodging at some affordable Las Vegas Hotels. I want to book a room near all the action surrounding casinos and the shows. Restaurants need to be within walking distance because I won't want to drive around in city traffic. This trip will be all about relaxation once I arrive at my destination. The easiest way that I know to find all the matching criteria for my search is to go online to a travel site. They usually have information about hotels or other accomodations, air or train travel and ticket prices as well as restaurant and entertainment listings.

Fron the city of lights I'd love to head to the eastern seaboard so I'm looking for New York Hotel. A little Broadway Theatre tickles my fancy so I want a room in the same district. I'll find some great tickets then book my dinner reservations right along with a flight from Las Vegas to New York City. Just for fun, I'd take a ride on the subway to say that I did it then it's off to the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building. Of course, I'll already have listings for taxis and train fares within the city. An afternoon walk in Central Park will round out my visit and I'll come away with lots of beautiful photos for my collection.

There's only one destination left after visiting New York City that would equal the excitement. I'd travel straight to Florida so I'm thinking that I need to line up some miami beach hotels. Spring break would be a little too exciting for me so I'll explore the itinerary on the travel site to find out what events are happening in order to find a little quiet time in my fun in the sun getaway. What plans do you have for vacationing this summer?
